ALS Awareness Night January 30 at the United Center Chicago Blackhawks takes on the Columbus Blue Jackets

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Event donated by Response Management Services (RMS) in collaboration with leading ALS organizations to drive awareness and support for the Chicago ALS community.

Chicago, IL — January 26, 2026 — The Chicago Blackhawks will take the ice against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday, January 30, 2026, at 7:30 PM at the United Center. During this special ALS Awareness Night, hockey fans, advocates, and the ALS community will come together for an evening of impact and connection.

The evening is a collaborative effort with Team Goose, I AM ALS, Les Turner ALS Foundation, and ALS United Illinois. A suite for those selected by these organizations has been donated by Response Management Services as part of the Team Goose “A Day to Forget and a Day to Remember”.

The night is held in loving memory of Kevin A. Duffy (1967-2024), a lifelong hockey player and devoted fan whose passion for the sport remained a constant throughout his journey with ALS. This event aims to unite the Chicago hockey community to raise vital awareness and funds for those currently living with the disease and to support the search for a cure.

“Hockey was a central part of Kevin’s life, and there is no better way to honor his legacy than by bringing the community together at a Blackhawks game,” said Connor Schaeffer, Owner of Response Management Services. “By partnering with these incredible organizations, we hope to shine a light on the challenges faced by ALS families and provide them with the resources and visibility they deserve.”

We encourage the fans to go to the websites of our partnering organizations and learn about the local impact of ALS and the work being done by these organizations.
