Navigating Ventilation Decisions in ALS
Decisions about ventilation are among the most complex and personal choices people living with ALS and their families may face. During the session, guest speaker Anne O’Sullivan, RRT, RCP, shared practical clinical insight drawn from more than 25 years of experience supporting individuals and families through complex care decisions.
We also heard from Charlie Wren, who has lived with a tracheostomy and invasive ventilation for eight years, as he shared what day-to-day life with ventilation looks like from a personal perspective.
