As part of our fundraising efforts for Walk ALS Peoria 2023, Team Dads’ Dash participated in a painting event. In our continued efforts to raise awareness, we chose to paint a Sunflower.
This event is important to myself and co-captain Amanda Donald as we both lost our dads to ALS. It was very cool seeing how unique everyone’s flower was to them. While this event was a blast, it was also a way for those of who had a family member affected by ALS to come together, be there for each other and most importantly, spread awareness and raise funds in the fight to end ALS.
